01Is VERO a licensed recruitment agency in the Maldives?
Yes. VERO Recruiting Services Pvt Ltd is a licensed Category A Employment Agency in the Republic of Maldives. Our licence number is EAA-2026-0010, and our registered office is in Hulhumalé.
03How does overseas recruitment through VERO work?
We first document the position, headcount, salary, currency, hours, weekly off, benefits, ticket responsibility and preferred experience. Approved overseas partners then source candidates, the employer interviews and selects, and VERO coordinates the appointment, permit updates, travel readiness and arrival handovers.
05Who applies for the Maldives work permit?
The Maldivian employer is responsible for submitting the work-permit application through the applicable government system. VERO coordinates the recruitment record, shares status updates with the correct overseas partner and keeps the approved permit connected to the selected candidate.
07How does VERO reduce candidate withdrawals?
Before permit processing, candidates should confirm the employer, position, salary, currency, hours, weekly off, benefits, location and willingness to travel. This documented confirmation reduces preventable misunderstandings, although no recruitment process can guarantee that a candidate’s circumstances will not change.
09Can candidates apply directly to VERO?
Candidates may register their interest, but registration is not a job offer or travel guarantee. Candidate profiles are considered only against genuine employer demands, and document, experience, employment-term and travel-readiness checks still apply before any selection can proceed.
02Does VERO charge employers a recruitment fee?
VERO does not charge Maldivian employers a recruitment coordination fee. Employers approve the staffing demand, interview candidates, make the final selection and remain responsible for their government applications and employment obligations.
04Which countries can VERO source candidates from?
VERO works with recruitment partners across India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia and the Philippines. The source country is selected according to the role, employer preference, candidate availability and current departure requirements.
06How long does overseas recruitment take?
There is no single timeline for every vacancy. Timing depends on the role, employer response time, interview availability, government processing and the candidate’s origin-country clearance. VERO tracks each stage separately so employers can see the actual next action instead of relying on an unsupported arrival promise.
08Who provides the joining ticket and airport pickup?
Ticket responsibility is agreed in the employer’s staffing demand and appointment terms. Once country clearance is confirmed, the agreed party arranges the ticket. The employer is responsible for confirming airport pickup and the worker’s accommodation and workplace readiness in the Maldives.
10What happens after an employer selects a candidate?
The employer issues an appointment letter or offer matching the approved demand. VERO coordinates candidate acceptance, the employer proceeds with the work permit, the overseas partner completes required departure clearance, and travel is arranged only after readiness is confirmed. The employer then receives the worker at the airport.
